New Rebate Brings S50 Price to $199

This Sunday Sirius will launch a new $100 rebate, called From Rockstars to Allstars, which will bring the price of the S50 down to $199. The rebate will also bring the price of other receivers down as much as $50. You can get more details here.

This $100 price drop makes me believe they’re trying to get these puppies out to make room for the new live portable.

Comments:

  1. That's a pretty decent price for the S50 when factoring in the rebate. I love my S50, and have stored over 350 songs with about 20% storage left! But one thing about rebates, I try not to use them as the reason for purchase, but usually turn it in anyway.
  2. And the price will get be cheaper.
  3. Can existing subs get the rebate also?? I read the terms and conditions and saw nothing about us.. Anyone know exactly?

Yes, if you buy the S50 even though you already have an existing sub, you can indeed get the rebate.

I am like sportboy, I think we'll see this thing get even lower, but the $199 price point is a good one.
  5. DAB, I found it for $220 somewhere online so with the rebate, it comes out to $120... I am very tempted

I agree. Buy from reputable vendors only. You don't want to miss out on your $100.
  9. Circuit City says the price online is $129.99 with $150 mail-in rebate and $20 discount.

Starmate R is only $49 with $40 rebate

Sirius One is $29 with $20 rebate.

Not sure if I believe it, but that the way it is today. Rebates seem higher than other places.
  10. Another thing to think about is that Sirius might be sitting on a lot of S50s right now. Also, it has been out a while, and new stuff is on its way.

Blow out the old, in with the new. Just remember that the new stuff will probably be small tweaks to what is out already. aside from a live, portable piece of course.

    we will see what happens.

I like the $50 combined rebate on Sportster Replay & boombox
