SIRIUS Backstage

*UPDATE* Here’s the official announcement from Sirius. Things to point out that we haven’t said: If you don’t already have all of the Canadian channels already you WILL be getting them, and Las Vegas traffic is being added to 155.
SiriusBackstage has learned from a source close to the matter that the following changes will take place on September 26th:

New channels
Sirius Nascar [note: This will just be a preview channel] // 128
The Catholic Channel // 159
CNN Espanol // 182
Metropolitan Opera Radio (replacing Classical Voices)

Deleted Channels

WSM // 117
PRI // 141
BBC Mundo // 182

IMHO, it’s sort of dissapointing that there will be no music channel changes (besides Opera), but Nascar coming to Sirius will be very big.
