Sirius Backstage Announces 4 Additions to our Blog Team
First off, thank you to everyone who submitted an application to our open call to join our blog team. I’m pleased to announce four additions to our blog team to make our blog the most fresh and up-to-date available for all of our members and visitos. Here is a little about each of our new bloggers.
jeff94 - Jeff is from Boise, Idaho and has been following Sirius since the days of CD Radio. He and his family must really like Sirius; they have already purchased 6 different Sirius radios.
theamazingchuy - George joins us from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. He is a self proclimed “avid SIRIUS listener” and enjoys “blogging”. He’s a big fan of the service. If you can imagine one of those guys that has the tshirts and hooded sweatshirts with the SIRIUS logos, you’re thinking about George.
Brusimm - Bruce is from the Bay Area, CA and has been writing computer newsletters since 1999. His interests on the Sirius dial include Howard Stern, NASCAR, Radio Classics, and vaious music channels.
jimboxlax - James is a member of SiriusBackstage since August 2003 from Scotch Plains, NJ. He is a filmmaker who released a documentary on the 60’s garage band Richard and the Young Lions. Sirius’ music and technology interest him and his favorite channels are Sirius Disorder and Underground Garage.
Please help me welcome these guys to the team.

I'd like to thank Ryan and the rest of the SIRIUS Backstage family for inviting me to the team. As Ryan said, I'm absolutely obsessed with SIRIUS and have been a follower of Backstage since about May 2006. I'm very very excited to be a part of the team and look forward to blogging about everyone's favorite radio service!
If anyone has any questions or comments, you can private message me or even send me an email through my profile.
Thanks again and I greatly appreciate the warm welcome!

I can't wait to see all the new news...
With 4 new writers, we will have all kinds of new content to read.
Congratulation guys. by me_rubin
I'm looking forward to all the great information...
My blogging will be initially as an interviewer of Sirius Jocks.. Theres so many of em out there, that I shouldn't run out of subjects anytime in the next decade or two... As is human nature, I'm going to go with *my* favorites first and then start digging deeper. My favorite channels are Sirius Disorder, Sirius Blues and Underground Garage, but don't worry I'll mix it up...
And speaking of my favorite jocks, already the first of the interviews is up..
Larry Kirwan of Sirius Disorder's (Ch. 32) "Celtic Crush" show is my first victim... You may also know him from the great NY Irish rock band Black 47... Larry has been a huge influence on my musical tastes over the years - first with Black 47 and now introducing me to other great Irish music that I didn't know existed... He's always been a good guy who appreciates his fans and was very generous with his answers when I interviewed him.
You can read the first part of the 3 part interview at:

jimbox- good luck getting DJs, and if you do don't be surprised to see Sirius stop it. BUT, I look forward to reading any ones you do get. by SISO
It took me a minute to get that Bob Barker joke, but I did.
