America’s premiere radio station for professional truck drivers is broadcasting live from the Mid-America Trucking Show March 22-24
SIRIUS Satellite Radio is bringing to you Road Dog Trucking Radio, America’s premiere audio entertainment destination dedicated to the professional truck driver, is broadcasting live from the 2007 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, KY on March 22-24. The Road Dog crew will broadcast from the Freightliner booth 3210 in the South Wing of the Kentucky Exposition Center and be joined by special guests such as Charlie Daniels and Tony Stewart.
The entire on-air team of Road Dog Trucking Radio, SIRIUS channel 147, including Charlie Daniels, “King of the Road Dogs,”,Carl P. Mayfield & The P-Team, Freewheelin’ with Meredith Ochs and Chris T., HammerDown Radio with DJ RigRocker, Open Road Café with Mark Willis and Elizabeth Walsh, and Midnight Trucking with Eric Harley and Gary McNamara will bring listeners three days of the best trucking radio on radio.
Highlights of the SIRIUS broadcast include the following special guest appearances:
Charlie Daniels, legendary entertainer and “official voice” of Road Dog Trucking Radio, scheduled to appear on-air with his old buddy Carl P. Mayfield on March 22 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
Tony Stewart, 2-time NASCAR Nextel Cup Series champion and host of Tony Stewart Live on SIRIUS NASCAR Radio channel 128, scheduled to appear live on-air March 22 at 3:00 pm ET with Carl P. Mayfield; his appearance will be followed by an autograph signing session.
NASCAR Nextel Cup driver Kasey Kahne, also scheduled to appear with Carl P. Mayfield in the 3:00 pm ET hour on March 22.
Joey Holiday, trucking music performer, joins DJ RigRocker for a special edition of HammerDown Radio on March 23 at 2:00 pm ET
Members of the Chrome Shop Mafia (stars of CMT’s Trick My Truck) on Freewheelin’ with Meredith Ochs and Chris T. on March 24 at 2:00 pm. ET.
Other guests scheduled to appear include Brock Ray and Don Kirk from the Interstate Sportsman cable television show; Jessica Chornesky, the director of Alligators on the Zipper, a new film about women in trucking; biodiesel expert Dale Decker of Decker Truck Line; trucking nutritionists Don Jacobson and Pam Whitfield of Roadcookin’; and award-winning trucking journalist Tim Brady of Write Up the Road publications.
