A SIRIUS Tidbit for April 12th.

Did you know that SIRIUS is a satellite radio (SDARS) service that operates in both the United States and Canada?

Headquartered in New York City, SIRIUS has smaller studios in Los Angeles, Memphis,  Nashville, New Orleans, Houston & Daytona.  SIRIUS provides over 130 channels of music, exclusive sports channels, news, talk, entertainment, traffic, weather and data to listeners.

Additionally, Sirius has a subset of channels as part of the Dish Network satellite television service.

(Keep your eye out for more ‘Sirius Tidbits’ from Bruce in the weeks to come.)

Woah! Does anyone know where the new orleans studio is in new orleans, or what's produced there?
  4. What about the studio in Cleveland in the Rock And Roll hall of Fame... My all time favorit Dj Dusty Street is there live Wednesdays to Sundays on Sirius 14 10-1 and Sirius 22 3 - 7

It might not be the one he's referring too, but Mike Church has a studio there. And I only know that because Jay Thomas broadcasts from there when he's in town.

BTW, are there any pics of these studios floating around anywhere?
  6. Doesn't Bubba the Love Sponge have his own studio in Tampa on Howard 101?

What about all those individual ISDN connections that are used to connect remote users.

Wouldn't those be considered studio's too? I know they said on Howard's show that each of the main people have a ISDN connection in their home as a part of the disaster recovery plan.

We know that Gary uses his to call Bubba and it sounds like he is in a room without any furnature because of all the echo's.
