Comments:

  1. This morning on The Morning Drive was awesome! So funny I almost wrecked.

I hope someone posts the audio from when the cars were going thru NY.
  2. Snider arguing with Poole during their interview with Matt Kenseth wasn't very funny...

Would Sirius just can the guy already?...
  3. think the coverage so far has been excellent.
Can't wait for the "Stewies" tonight.
  4. Quote:
    interview with Matt Kenseth
Man Kenseth was as dry as the South was this year. NO FUN AT ALL.

The guy was cryin' over Kyle messin' his bumber up during a very festive day. The Morning guys were trying to have fun and keep it light and Kenseth was dull and boring. I think that's why the interview was so short.

Has he always been this way? Talk about a party killer. A very low point during The Morning Drive show yesterday. I wouldn't put him back on my show if it were me.
  5. Dude kept yelling at David about his computer making noise during the show this morning and that was getting a little old. I don't know if he was playing around or not, but there was one point where it sounded pretty damn angry.
  6. This whole "Champions Week" is nothing but b.s. NASCAR has to know that nobody gives a damn! We've had to listen to the stupid "I'm a cop in NYC..." commercial all year long. What lame promo do you think we'll have to endure until NEXT December???

ALL awards shows are nothing but marketing pablum and they all SUCK!!!
  7. I thought the coverage of Champions week was pretty good this week. Although I have to agree with David Poole, NYC is not a fan freindly venue for the awards. What other awards show does not let the most important people (the fans) in to see everything.

    Just my thoughts
  8. First off, let's give props to Sirius for the Coverage of Championships Week this past week. If any of you were XM Subscribers, you'll know that the coverage of this years event is 1000x better then anything XM ever did.

As far as New York holding the event, I dunno. To be honest, I really don't care. I'm never going to go up there to see it. It's too cold and I don't want to look like a tourist.

I did like yesterdays ROTY Program that they had with Jenna Fryer, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Chip Ganassi.

Well, now for a NASCAR Break. In 2 1/2 months it'll be time to start the whole thing all over again...

Anyone else going to the Daytona 500?...
  9. First, the coverage is/was excellent. Sirius MADE it fun.

Second, get the hell out of NYC. The whole thing had the air of elitism to it. In my opinion the CEO's and their wives don't want to mix with the riff-raff (the fans). It's no secret that the Nascar overlords want to get rid of this "red-neck" image.

It should be in Charlotte. PERIOD!!!!!!

It should be in a place where fans can go and have fun meeting the drivers and crew and see the cars and equipment.

I'm so sick of having to bend over so much for the sponsors. I can understand it to a point but my feeling is that if a sponsors pulls out because of what a driver said against Nascar (or something similar) then we as fans should boycott that sponsor. It's not like there are only a few of us or that we don't have any money.

If you don't like something then don't go along with it. I NEVER watch any California races for example. It's not a "nascar track" to begin with and the races are boring so I don't watch. May not mean nothing but it's what I do.
