Default Possible XM Convert

Some of you all might have seen me over at xmfan and am thinking about switching over to Sirius. I do have one question though, how is the country channels? XM seems to play some of the same stuff over and over again, and I would like to get away from that. If Sirius doesn't play everything over and over again, I will drop one of my XM subs and pick up Sirius.

I don't know anything about Nashville Pop, because it cause seizures and blackouts whenever I hear it, but Sirius has 2 excellent alternative country channels, 35 and 36, that I like.

Depends on your likes in Country, I guess.

XM's X Country is pretty darn good and programs with that kind of format are rare outside of big Texas cities.

On the other hand, if you like current hit country, XM's Nashville! is controlled and programmed by Clear Channel, and has all their typical hallmarks. Sirius' is better by comparison.

I like the Sirius Country stream 'Country Road'.
Plays all the old country music pre-2000 that I have enjoyed.
I don't care much for new country, so don't listen to 'New Country' very often.

But Country Road is very very good.

Ahhh..I can honestly say that I like the country selections on Sirius better than the ones on XM. After listening to the streams online (even though I'm on dialup), 32 is what Nashville should be. Now if only the local BB has these in tomorrow

And don't forget, on the entertainment streams (and with tons of commercials replaced with tons of PSA's) is WSM Entertainment. Good for The Grand Ole Opry on Friday and Saturday nights!

Darkbandit,
Maybe I missed it but have you listened to the steams on the internet?
Why don't you buy the H2A at CC, try it, and take it back if you don't like it? It will only cost you the price of one months subscription and activation fee at most! I don't know how good Best Buy is on returns but you could aslo try there. The reason I say H2A is that it is probably the easiest and fastest to install with no mods to your automobile, and if you don't like it you can always take it back. That is exactly what I did with the XM delphi.

Yeah, after I posted here, I went to listen to the streams some. I am going to definately going to get the H2A after listening to the streams. Stream 32 is exactly what I have been looking for on radio, a mix of 70's, 80's and 90's. All I'm waiting on is for the BB or CC to get them in, which hopefully will be tomorrow..(I know I said that yesterday too, lol).

DABster,
Thier so close I can almost taste them! I need to call UPS today because again "something wierd" is going on. I haven't had a chance yet today. The problem is if they are not going to deliver one of them today I am going to have a hard time getting the other one tomorrow because it will be a special Saturday delivery and that is 12.00 dollars extra, and there may be difficulty arranging it. I would pay the extra 12 dollars just to have it but we'll see what happens. If I have to wait until Monday to get both of them I will be HOT! I may have missed it, did you get yours yet?

Hey longcom1, YES, mine was delivered a little while ago, but I am at the office and I've got back to back appointments, so I can't touch the thing till I get all this done. Makes me want to clear my calender. LOL I'll let you know how it goes later. I hope yours comes in man. I wonder why UPS screws up so much.

They have been delived at home. I can't wait to go hook it up. I hit the panic button to soon this time. Goes to show you, just because 9 times out of 10 UPS has let me down, doesn't mean this time they were going to.

Am in the process of activating mine now, picked it up at BB this afternoon, after being told that they had none this morning. Also picked up a power converter until the home kits come out.
