Default GLBT Advertising???

Does anyone know the current advertising plan for Sirius to advertise to the GLBT community? I had emailed the Advocate recently and they said they have no current agreement with Sirius regarding advertising on the Advocate.

Hopefully Sirius Corporate will get the ball rolling soon on this. Just like in my line of work, women refer 4x as many new customers to me as men. That adds up. The GLBT community is very tight and just like my women clients they want to see something succeed that they believe so highly in.

Guess time will tell

Sirius -- are you listening!!!!

I guess we could join and look for forums and post it there. I dont think sirius knows how to advertise. I only saw a single page in half of the magazines I bought on auto audio video and it was just a picture of a black guy wearing phones and a sirius t shirt advertising where to buy the t shirt.

I think the add could of mentioned the radio, service and such like xm does. I think sirius needs better shirts or hats like they have for Jimmy Spencer. That reminds me, I need to place my order for a shirt or 2 to make a mongo pillow and a sticker for my wheelchair

Hey Jeff, glad your trip went well. I have to agree, I have seen much more advertising for XM than I have for Sirius. They need to get their name and product out there. Advertising to the gay and lesbian community is essential right now while they are the only one with nationwide radio aimed in that direction. It amazes me that they have not done more in this area since I feel they do promote the stream well on their website.

So far, all I've seen is stuff at Prides. Magazines would be a great way and even websites like planetout...
