She was doing a fantastic job and contributed a lot. She was actually why Octane began playing Mother Love Bone. I was impressed she even knew about that band.
However, when I emailed her 8 months ago about the constant repitition and boringly predictable playlists, she responded by telling me about how Sirius' listeners want Octane to sound like an FM channel and yadda yadda yadda. I respectfully disagreed with her, got fed up with hearing the same old songs over and over again (this was back when there was a channel called ROCK HITS, which played exactly the same songs that OCTANE was playing, sometimes at exactly the same time), and told sirius to kiss my grits. That was when I became an XM sub. 6 months later, after my 6-month requirement was up, I've come back to sirius only to find not much has changed.
Stacey, I gotta say, if you're gone, it's not a huge loss, unless you've changed your mind and realized that Sirius should sound nothing like an FM station.
