Does anyone know what the basic audio response specs for Sirius are
(??Hz to ??KHz), +/- ?.? dB)? In both my units no mention of frequency range, etc. given. Any audio amp, preamp, CD player, etc. on the market provides such information.
By the way, I am new here, having had my Sirius car setup for only about 4 months and the home one for about one week. Love the service.
It can vary but assume 16 Hz to 16 kHz, depending on the channel. If they try to push the higher frequencies, the artifacts go nuts. The lower limit is probably 1 Hz, but below 16 or so, the wave becomes a series of pulses to the human ear.

I was told of an experiment of a frequency of 5 Hz being played near a cow, the frequency killed the cow, the organs were all misplaced by the low frequency... Just a quick, baseless, yet humorous? statement.
