AP Network News down? Voices overlaping

Has anyone notice besides me that Sirius Left doesn't air AP Network News at the top of the hour? I assume it's because of the NYC blackout, altough I must say even hours after the blackout I could still hear AP News. But anyway instead Sirius is inserting mainly PSAs and and a few of their promos.

No big deal. if I want top of the hour news I'll tune to ABC News & Talk, NPR, or Sports Byline USA for USA Radio Network News.

Also, anyone notice about voices overlapping on Sirius Right. For example I hear a PSA in the background but I also hear the talk show host. This happening at the same time.

This reminds me when I used to listen Coast to Coast AM when I had XM and heard something like this.

Once again, no big deal. The majority of the time the problem is corrected.

AP Network News plays at the top of each hour on SIRIUS Left. I assume it is still doing so...

I won't be in the car for another hour or two, and I don't have a PNP YET...

That's what I meant. Sirius Left. Sirius Right play Special Features (music interviews) at the top of every hour. I forgot about that.

No. Lately I still hear PSAs and a few promos at the top of every hour on Sirius Left. Hey, I got the correct name of the stream that time.

Well, poopy!

I hope they get this fixed soon. I love the AP Network News. You can sometimes get a CBS News feed on WSM at the top of the hour, but WSM only occasionally does national news. I haven't figured out for sure when they do and don't! Listening to WSM will remind you why you subscribed to Sirius sometimes. PSA's go on for like 10 MINUTES whilst WSM is running local ads, no doubt.

And the reference to WSM perhaps keeps this thread under entertainment, else it would have fit better under NEWS, perhaps it still does. Mods?

Keep in mind AP has two news channels.

AP All News Radio
AP Network News

The clocks overlap on the quarter hours...

AP Network News is working fine now, since last Saturday afternoon. It might have been earlier than that when they got things fixed but thats when I've last listened to it. I've usually listen to this (still listen to this) for top news stories along with as metioned ABC News, NPR, and USA Radio Network News

This may be off topic, but if you want to listen to JUST AP News, you can via Shoutcast:

Just click on the "Listen" button. It's a feed of "AP Network News" and not "AP ANR". So there you have it!
