Default Pat St. John playing too many overplayed songs?

I think Pat St. John is great, and I like that he does talk a little more, along with throwing in the extra sound bytes. But, this afternoon alone I heard Born in the USA, Stairway to Heaven, and Another Brick in the Wall(Part 2). This is the second day in a row that he has played ABITW2, and I haven't heard it at all before yesterday(thank god). Stairway to Heaven/Born in the USA weren't played as much as FM, but it just seems like Pat St. John is bringing back the overplayed songs. What do you think?

I prefer the afternoons when Carol Miller is on. I think Pat St. John's show is way to safe and his commentary is not as good as Carol's. They do need to throw a bone once in awhile by playing something that wasn't the most popular track released on an albumn, or the most popular rock band. They definitely have their favorite bands and ignore some of the bands that were popular for a year or two and then disapeared.

Here's a few bands off the top of my head I would like to see played that I haven't heard:

Head East
April Wine
Molley Hatchet (Ok, I heard one song on a Sunday)

I drove to the Sport Chalet and back and heard ZZ Top twice in the course of 90 minutes.

Pat is okay, but I do prefer Carol. He has gotten to yakking a lot lately and sometimes its as if he gets lost and don't quite know what to say. But the music overall has been pretty good. I don't mind it as long as its balanced out a bit.

I think Pat & Carol's show on the Rock are great... I really like the fact that 99% of the time I'll hit The Rock and come across a familiar song that i loved back in the day..

When i first heard about this station i was worried about them playing too much Stairway to Heaven, but I can happily say I havent heard it once yet in my listening...

I hear Pat will be also doing a show on the Vault, so if you want deeper tracks that'll be the place to find em... I think Carol is already on the Vault???

They were playing this song regularly 2-3 weeks ago. It probably fell off of their rotation, but will reappear in the future I'm sure.

I listened to both all week on the big trip. I like Pat St. John and he adds a lot to the lineup. But overall, I really prefer Carol Miller. She's the best.

I grew up listening to Pat & Carol on WNEW-FM in NYC, and i have to say she has probably the sexiest mainstream radio voice ever... And I saw video of her in some radio documentary and she lived up to the voice..
