SIRIUS RockThe top tracks from the legends of rock n' roll, along side Underground, Alternative and Metal styles...all served up with the deepest Blues and the roots of Reggae.
Remember the SIRIUS manifesto: Music doesn't like to be categorized? I guess that is one major problem I have with the way streams are set up. There should be more streams like Organic Rock 24, where the format isn't so narrow you just know what you will and will NOT hear...
The Dylan I'm thinking about is anything but Folk.
e.g. Memphis Blues Again, Highway 61, I Want You, Positively 4th Street, Like a Rolling Stone, etc. The golden era. More like modern Beatle-esque country than anything else.
But the sh*t-kickers hate Dylan so I guess that's just another genre that won't get played 'cause Walter can't find a cubby-hole in his pea brain in which to put it.

THE Bob Dylan, (maybe not yours) is def folk, folk rock, or whatever. He is in the Folk Music Artists Hall of Fame, along with the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Remember, some artist cross barriers and can be classified more than one way.
You can't classify the artist, but you can classify the style of a particular piece. "Blonde on Blonde" is a country blues masterpiece, for example.
