Default Stream 6 back into crappy old mode

Repeats way up since yesterday. Have heard ''Everyday People'' twice in 24 hours.

You heard one song twice, and claim "repeats are way up"? :\

The 70's and 80's channels have repeats since they are only playing #1's. There evidently aren't enough #1's to fill a 3 day weekend. There's probably only enough to fill a 24-36 hour period. I would imagine the 60's aren't much different for this weekend. I've heard repeats on both 70's and 80's.

its too bad they had to limit it to just #1's. (Yawn) What about all those good "FORGOTTEN" #2 to #40 hit songs that they could be playing?

That's what they play everyday. This was their chance to be different, and I'm glad they did it. I think it would have been cool if they stuck an #2 song in there once in awhile and declared it as one that didn't quite make it.

This just goes to show that these same select few complainers will ALWAYS find something to bitch, whine and cry about. They did the number 1's which have been GREAT!!!! Lots of variety, I've heard tunes I've not heard in a VERY long time. OH but that's not good enough... we should just include everything from #1's to 40's. I think that is the normal format isn't it?

We all agree they need to expand the play list to include a much wider range of hits from each decade. No one will argue that point. But this weekend has been GREAT.... Sure I heard a few songs over... SO WHAT!!!

You know if they hung them with a brand new rope they'd still complain.

I agree this weekend's programming has been a nice change. I've spent most of my time listening to 70's and 80's #1's. And like Dabster, there are many songs I hadn't heard in a long time. It's easy to see that the key to satisfied listeners is varying content. Our ears catch repetition very easy, so what sounds good for a weekend would be old within a week of playing it.

The thread was about Stream 6, which was not confined to #1 (urine) and #2 (caca) songs.

And I heard the same song 3 times in 24 hours.

Whoever is running this circus has their head up their butts. There's no way I'm going to listen to ''Respect'' over and over just to get to some decent Stones music.
