Loading screen...

Sorry if this is a repeat ?, but I didnt' see it in this forum already. Is there any way to permanently disable the "Loading" screen on each page? It's really annoying to me and half the time, I have to click the link to make it disappear, anyway. I know I could disable javascript, but I'd rather not have to do that.

I'm working on disabling it.

The problem is some users are posting huge avatars.

They are fun to look at, but will make the page take longer to load.

Jeff, I know you try to be open and friendly. But it maybe time to set some specific sizes on signature files and avatars. Lay the specifics out and upfront and let folks know if they go beyond that they will be deleted. I know its extra work, but with the volume we are doing on the forum now, its getting to the point where this is a must.

Also, all this text being added before and after signatures, sometimes you have to wade through all that to get to messages. Maybe its just me being crumpy... Just food for thought....

And then we have ones that flash and move that must take longer to download, not to mention being hard on these old eyes (I doubt I am the only one...)
