Rolling Stone MAGAZINE AND SIRIUS COLLABORATE ON EXCLUSIVE, WEEKLY MUSIC TALK SHOW
NEW YORK – September 4, 2003 – SIRIUS (NASDAQ: SIRI), known for delivering the very best in commercial-free music and premium audio entertainment to cars and homes across the country, today announced the launch of “Rolling Stone on SIRIUS” through an exclusive collaboration with Rolling Stone magazine. Airing every Wednesday from 5-6 p.m. ET on SIRIUS Entertainment, stream 135, the one-hour weekly program will be hosted live by top Rolling Stone editors Joe Levy and Jenny Eliscu and will feature breaking insider music-related news plus information culled from the most current issue of the magazine as it hits the newsstands. The show will also include live interviews with SIRIUS Stream Jockeys and music industry insiders, as well as listener call-ins. The program will debut September 10th.

"Rolling Stone has been one of the leading voices of the music industry and ahead of the curve in reporting on the music business for more than three decades. Now our listeners will have access to the exclusive programming that only Rolling Stone can provide," said Mary Pat Ryan, Executive Vice President, Marketing at SIRIUS. I'd love to see the House of Blues partnership exploited more, both in terms of live concerts and marketing.

Sirius marketing is getting better. I hope that part of the agreement was a full page Sirius ad in Rolling Stone. Now I see what they were saying when they mentioned the additional programming.

BTW: Anybody think that Sirius Entertainment is below the radar on many people's idea of good channels? I think it would be much better if they had some sort of schedule, especially of Inside Sirius. I don't want to hear which artists will be playing this week as much as when they will.
