First off don't y'all start bashing me becasue I have both services.
The Roady is very small, light and cool (and i mean both ways too.) First let's start off with the packaging.
Everything came in one small sized package. The package included the antenna, Roady, 3 trim bands, 3 face plates, cassette adapter, power supply, mounting bracket and a platic coil thing that you can put your wires in. Next the antenna.
It is very small, about the size of a matchbook. The antenna wire is VERY flexible. Not hard like the SIR3's wire. The reception out of this little bugger is awesome.
Now the Roady itself. The Roady has 7 different colors for the lighting. They are......
Skyblue
Red
Green
Night Blue
Orange
Purple
Pink
There are three display mode on the Roady.....
1
2
3
I'm really impressed with the size.
The three trim rings and face plates are Grey, Blue and Red. I installed the Grey trim ring and face plate on my Roady. The face plates are held on by an adhesive. So pretty much once it's on, it's on. The trim rings on the other hand you can change very easily. They are held on by just two little tabs.
Tune Select (like the song finder on the Shuttle) is mery much like the Shuttles other than it hold five more songs for a total of fifteen. When it finds a song it beeps and displays the song. Push in the tuning wheel to go to the song. The Roady also has a memory feature which is seperate of Tune Select. This just stores song iand artest information.
The Roady has 30 presets. Ten on each letter/band. For only using the unit for a total of a day I didn't install it right away) I'm very impressed with it. It is soooooo much nicer than my SkyFi. The display is very easy to read in direct sunlight unlike the SkyFi's. I would recommend the Roady to anyone who wanted XM (although I do push Sirius all of the time). Any other questions let me know.

Thanks for the great photos. Those certainly highlight its strengths...size, design and hipness. The color options are very cool.
That antenna is simply an engineering marvel.
I long for the day when Sirius realizes that they are not taking enough risks, they are not experimenting enough. It's not rocket science, that part is over. They just need to try to give the customers what they want.
Never look in the rearview mirror. Stop reacting to XM.

It really is an engineering marvel. Have you seen on XMFan the Blitzsafe microantenna? It is even smaller than the Roady antenna.
Gosh darn it Kevin.... Just when I had pretty much made up my mind not to get this thing... there YOU go. You DOG! LOL
Its a great review and I really appreciate you doing it. Decision, Decisions... OH Hell, I guess it really isn't much of a decision to make is it. Just go out and buy the darn thing. If I can make it to CC this week, I may end up bringing this thing home.
I installed the Roady in my wife's car this evening. She wanted both services as well, and the small size of both the unit and the antenna makes this ideal for her.
First, the sound is GREAT! The line-out surpasses anything out there right now. The colors are cool too, and it's size makes it very flexible to place just about anywhere.
I also like how Delphi fixed the browsing mechinism, so it doesn't automatically change the channel on you.
THE BEST PART for me was the fact it automatically turns on when it senses power to the car. I hate having to turn on the H2A or SKYFi, but the Roady fixes that!
Overall, not bad. I think this will only give XM a bigger advantage, especially at a $119 for everything price. Let's hope Sirius has something up it's sleeve.

How is the reception in relation to Sirius?
How is the reception in relation to other XM tuners?
In my area XM reception is better becasue they have reapeaters in my area. The reception is about the same as my Sony PnP, but like I said we have repeaters in my area.
