I heard two songs in the last day on US-1/The Pulse(Alanis Morissette on The Pulse and P.I.M.P. or shake your tailfeather on US-1) and they were both uncensored. I haven't heard any censored songs in the last day on either stream, so I want to know, is this for real or just a couple glitches?
I hope so. I heard an Alanis song the other day on ThePulse that wasn't censored... but ThePulse doesn't often play songs that would need to be... and I don't listen to US-1 enough to know....

I thought all the streams on sirius were unedited?
PIMP was censored when I heard it earlier today. US1 is the only censored channel on Sirius, because it is the one Best Buy (And the like) is supposed to leave on at the store, hence why it sounds so much better too. The problem is if US1 and Hip Hop Nation are both playing the same song, Hip Hop Nation will also get the censored version.

Is PIMP(censored) the worst freaking song ever? It is so chopped up what is the point?

If anything, I find the sound quality of US1 inferior to most streams. There have even been posts here about it...
US1 is censored, but it is not as censored as a typical radio station. I noticed a lot of lyrics in songs that were not censored on the US-1 stream that were edited for play on a top 40 station.

i cant stand that. people in the car say "i thought this was uncensored" and then i put a cd in.
If anything, I find the sound quality of US1 inferior to most streams. There have even been posts here about it...
I had not paid that much attention to the quality of the streams, but I noticed that in US-1 will sound distorted while the other streams do not. Perhaps it is an attempt to make it sound like a Top-40 station on FM. Or maybe it is a gouge at ClearChannel for having transmitters in such poor condition that you do not notice the overcompression.
