Default US-1 in a slightly different format?

Having listened last night and tonight, there seems to have been two changes:

1) The music selection has grown a bit again.

2) Billy Hammond and **I think** Jason Drew are working together. Seems a little more interactive. I think that this can be good as long as it doesn't spread to streams such as The Rock, The Vault, et al. It adds a little to the Top-40 imaging, but I'm sure I will hear some differing opinions by other Backstage members. Comments, anyone?

US-1 has been improving steadily since Labor Day.

Party Nation, I think that's what it's called, is pretty good. I think Billy Hammond and Jason Drew both do a good job playing off each others freakish energy.

I've enjoyed US-1 being more aggressive with their selections, as well as dredging up some hits from the past 2-3 years.

Kid Kelly has created quite a Top 40 monster!

Indeed he has.

US1 is fun.

I like it a lot, though I find myself switching to the r and b streams after, oh, say, 25 minutes or so!

I listen to US-1 about once a week, usually on the weekends. I have really enjoyed it a lot lately. They have improved it dramatically over the direction they were headed. My hat off to whomever is responsible.

I must say that I NEVER listened to pop 40/top 40 music before. Q102(A Clear Channel station of course) blows chunks, including the fact that the three hours I listened to "The Freak Show", I heard 14 songs, 3 of them "Where is the Love?". After that, I threatened my boss that the radio would find its way into the middle of the parking lot if I have to listen to that again

I agree that US-1 has slowly been improving since Labor Day. Keep it up.

Yes, I agree also. US-1 is getting better and better. I dont normally listen to top 40 because I have become so turned-off by the terrible channels I have here on local FM, but US-1 is slowly getting me back into top 40 music.

Jeff-

Billy Hammond just mentioned your post about he and Jason Drew having freakish energy.

I like to see that they are taking an interest in what people are saying about Sirius.

So Billy if you are reading this....you were great at Z100...I'm glad I can hear you on US-1 now! Keep up the "freakish energy."
