Default Does Streetbeat not have any SJs?

just sent off a bunch of requests for uncensored music, and noticed that not one sj is listed on streetbeat. has anyone noticed a SJ talking on streetbeat? HHN and hotjams come to mind but no SB. wierd.

I've actually written Sirius before asking for jocks on "Street Beat" too. As far as the edited vs. unedited issue goes; Since "StreetBeat" and "HotJamz" are very similar musically, I think Sirius should make leave "Hot Jamz" as it is and make "Street Beat" an edited channel for those with kids who want to listen to a hip hop hits channel. That way the music is basically the same and you can choose which is appropriate at certain times. It kind of baffles me that as popular as the CHR/rhythmic hip hop format is they don't have an editied stream in their "pop" area. That is one whole Sirius should fill.

I doubt it. Hip Hop Nation seems to be the logical choice imho.

I won't be upset if Streetbeat is canned, that means more songs that aren't played on Hot Jamz would return. Now, if they could add more R&B thats played on Heart & Soul and Slow Jamz to Hot Jamz, it would be a great channel imho.

I dont really listen to the rap stations on a regular bases but when I do, they are usually pretty good. Im sure this channel will be a good adition too. I wonder if they will even take away a rap channel, since they only have 4. ?

I hope not, I really like the way its setup now. You put on Hip Hop nation, if its a song you are tired of or don't like you flip to Street Beat. Then if you are in the mood for mixing you put on Wax.

Its perfect, I could not ask for anything more, only that nothing be taken away. An additional channel will make people happy, taking one away will have tons of people bitching like when they took away Vortex.
