SIRIUS SportsIf you love the thrill of the game, SIRIUS offers the best in sports action streamed directly to your radio, no matter where you go. Keep up with the latest live broadcasts of the NBA and every NFL regular season game.
I can't be the only nascar fan out there. We all know that Nascar radio is with the "other" satellite system, but we need to get them to come over to sirius, that way after the race, we can listen to howard stern and O&A
Yea, it would be nice to have it on Sirius.. It actually was a consideration when I was deciding on satellite providers. But.. I'm usually home to watch the races on TV.. I tape them the odd time I can't watch.
It would be nice if they had some good talk programs on the sports streams similar to the ones you see on TV's Speed channel.
YOU may be able to find alocal station at http://www.mrnradio.com/ or listen onlike and or record it to hear later. THis is the one thing xm is good for. They replay a race after its over and have a few shows they have made and oldies too. Interviews, old races, etc. Sound quality is the same as the mrn broadcasts .
I believe www.nascar.com has a stream too over the net to watch and or listen to a race.
I would love for Sirius to get Nascar, there are Sundays when I can't be in front of the TV. It would also be cool to stream the running order and times across the dial, just like Fox does on the broadcast.

Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill. That we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
OK....Here goes....This is pure speculation on my part so keep that in mind, but it does add up.
1-Sirius is a corporate sponsor of NASCAR.
2-NASCAR is owned by the International Speedway Corporation, or ISC.
3-ISC also owns the Motor Racing Network, or MRN.
4-MRN produces a daily talk show on Sirius.
4-Sirius is an associate sponsor on the 3 Penske Cars, the 2, 12 and 77.
5-If I am not mistaken, Penske has a minority stake in ISC.
6-If you go to "Brand X's" NASCAR page, PRN, who broadcast a limited number of NASCAR races is featured prominently and has a little write up with it. MRN is the last thing listed at the very bottom and has nothing written about it at all.
I think, and this is just speculation, that MRN has already notified "Brand X" they are either leaving and going to Sirius or are going to broadcast on both.
Did I leave anything out? Am I totally way off base? Have I spent to much time putting the Sirius-NASCAR puzzle together?
The bottom line is this, Sirius wants NASCAR VERY BADLY. Joe Clayton, Sirius CEO, is a huge NASCAR fan. Sirius has spent a lot of money with NASCAR and have built a strong relationship with them. Sirius sees the subscriber potential with NASCAR. Sirius wants to be THE satellite radio choice for sports. Mark my words, and I have no inside information, NASCAR will be on Sirius next season.
