Wow. If this is true he DEFINITELY ruined his career and tarnished his whole team, heck his whole SPORT, to avoid the POSSIBILITY of damaging his career.

ID, when I heard this story reported last night during the TOR/MON game, my first thought was "I wonder what IntelligentDonkey will have to say about this?"

This is a shock, and too close to home He was arrested in San Jose after the Sharks game?

It seems like all sports are suffering from criminal activities associated with a few rogue players.

One report had him arrested at his home, another had him arrested in SJ. He played in SJ Thursday evening, was arrested Friday morning. It all depends on when the team came back home.

I think Danton's a screwed-up individual anyway. He had the feuds with New Jersey over his medical problems, then legally changed his name to be disassociated from his parents, now this. If it's true, I say good riddance. The NHL doesn't need this bullsh!t.

Does anyone know anything about his agent Dave Frost? Apparently he is pretty well known in Toronto. He was banned from coaching in two junior hockey leagues in Ontario. Some say he brainwashes players. I've never heard of him till this happened. Does anyone have any thoughts on him?
