I've been kind of curious about all of the NFL Draft on Sirius claims lately. Isn't the NFL Draft on ESPN anyway? I didn't think the NFL deal has anything to do with the draft.
What stream is NFL Network? I'm gonna be out all day in my car, so I'll need to know where to find the draft!

Apparently it does have to do with the draft. Just because ESPN TV has the rights to the draft doesn't mean the NFL can't break it out separately on radio or satellite radio. ABC has "Monday Night Football", and has had it since the inception, but a different radio company (Westwood One) has the rights to the radio call for MNF.
I think Sirius's coverage is exclusive and better. I tuned into ESPN and heard commercials while Sirius had analysis. I'm not even sure it can be heard on ESPN at this point
1 San Diego picks Eli Manning QB
2 Oakland picks Robert Gallery Offensive tackle
3 Arizona picks Larry Fitzgerald Wide Receiver
4 NY Giants pick Phillip Rivers
5 Washington picks Sean Taylor
Cleveland picks Kellen Winslow
Detroit picks Roy Williams
Atlanta picks DeAngelo Hall
Browns trade spots with Detroit and give them their 2nd pick.
But I can not comprehend what would possess the Giants to trade Rivers for Manning while giving up this years 3rd and next years 1st and 5th. San Diego came out light years ahead in this deal.

Sirius' coverage was great today. I cannot stand the ESPN coverage. Mel Kiper is okay, but is way too full of himself. The only time Michael Irving gave some valueable imput was when a reciever was picked, and Chris Berman, although entertaining says way too many things that mean absoultely nothing.
IMO, the Giants gave way too much up to essentially move up 3 positions in the draft. I thought a 2nd rounder and possibly a 3rd would have been enough to give up.
I am very happy though, with the Jets 2 picks. Vilma should be a great fit and picking up Derrick Strait, in the middle of the 3rd round, I felt was a steal. The Sporting News projected him going in the late 1st round. His only weakness is his lack of man-to-man cover speed. The Jets play a cover defense, so he should be a good fit to our team.
