So is Baseball ever going to make it to Satellite Radio?

I am hoping one of the two XM or Sirius picks up MLB broadcasts. Is it true Sirius is trying to get it?

I sure hope so. I'm a sports nut, but especially baseball. Plus, I think it's just about indisputable that baseball is THE BEST sport on radio. I would go so far as to argue major league baseball would be a bigger coup for Sirius than the NFL. The NFL plays about 250 regular season games a year. MLB plays nearly 2,500. This would be some great programming night in and night out. The only issue I wonder about is where Sirius would place 15 games per night on its streams. But then, that's a nice problem to have.

Sirius will broadcast the playoffs like they did last year on ESPN. I don't see them getting MLB this year because of the complexities of working out a deal with the organization, but I would like to be proved wrong.
