Howard played a prank phone call from the two creepiest men of the year, Sal the Stockbroker and Richard Christy, in which they made prank calls to the gay channel on SIRIUS. "Gay Sal" called in to say that listening to the music they play on that channel was as refreshing as the first time he performed oral on a big black man. He told a story of the time he was in a bathhouse in Russia having drinks with the towel boy and before you know it, BAM! Black lollypop time. He also told about the time he was at a concert when the dummer stuck a drumstick up his ass. The female host finally had enough of him and ended the call. Richard Christy got jealous so he called in as "Rod from Las Vegas." He wanted to know the easiest way to remove a gerbil skull from one's ass. He said he got the rest of it out but the skull was lodged in there. The male host said just to learn to live with it. The funny part was that none of this fazed them at all. Robin wondered what kind of calls they usually get. Artie and Howard said they can't wait to get over "there," their studio will be right next to the gay studio. Howard even said he might do a show on that channel.

It is satrad, and I am sure the OutQ staff are free to make fun of Howard too when the time comes. And I am certain if the gay and lesbian community has a uncensored outlet they will fire back!

No, he won't. Howard has lost his sense of humor. He's been ripping bits off left and right, but claiming that the industry can't survive without him. It did fine without him before, and, personally, I think all of radio would do better off without him. Then again, he may change his tune when he moves, but with his pending payday, he can just call it in, and I think he will.

I think it will be refreshing if Stern and OutQ get along (which I think they will very well). It's a good chance for some cross genre subscriber interaction! I think it's a great chance for some fun!

I'm not a big stern fan, but I listen to OutQ once and a while because, well, it's different and often funny and definately liberal (The kind of liberal I like, with family values and respect). I would listen to Derrick and Romaine before Stern.

And for the record, Howard likes Derek and Romaine and has said many nice things about OutQ. DnR seem very excited to have the Stern crew near them.

I didn't hear the bit, but it sounds funny. I wonder how much of that got on terrestrial radio. It seems like they are censoring so much of his show that most of those calls must sound like one long beep.

Totally. The best calls on Stern lately have been Gary The Retard calling 411 for the phone number for "1-800-FLOWERS" and Fake Arnold being interviewed on the "Jack & Rod Show". Then, of course, there's always the David Lee Roth Phony Phone Calls! Those are the best!
