Yesterday, Chauncey Hayden who works for "Stepping Out" magazine was on Fox tv yesterday and predicted that David Lee Roth would be Howard's replacement in January. Chauncey did also predict that Howard would come to Sirius a month before the official annoucement last year. I have to say David Lee Roth was one of Howard's BEST all time guests and he has filled in on KRock here in NYC in past months. We'll see if this is true.
I am sure Infinity will make Howard wait as long as they can before allowing him to come over to Satellite. They want to prolong their demise as long as they can
roth is good in doses. Five times a week, don't know if it's a good idea. Man, Don and Mike really are chumps, that they couldn't get that spot when Howie leaves? They really are radio failures.

Don & Mike are Clear Channel jocks and could get the morning slot if clear channnel felt like relocating them and attacking what Infinity will be replacing Howard with.
Sorry,.... Don and Mike are Infinity employees. They are based out of Washington DC and "oh by the way, Infinity went that way once and they fell on their face hard!". They were tapped to take over for O and A and failed miserably. They were handed NY and Philly and couldn't get themselves of the air quick enough. No way Infinity gives them the Holy Grail of time slots in NYC!!!!

I agree. I think they may start his replacement as early as September but keep Stern off the air until his contract expires in hopes that this will cause people to forget about him. I can't imagine David Lee Roth having an entertaining show though. Howard has had him on in the past and he always seemed like he was under the influence of high dosages of caffine.
If Infinity does take Howard off the air in September until his contract starts in Jan., he already said he is going to do a nationwide bus tour that will be the media event of the year. Also, Howard was scheduled to take a week during the 4th of July but he is still out as of Tuesday of the next week. Something is definitely going on behind the scenes, TV show and contract, but we'll see how this plays out.
