Default Stern's run on terrestrial radio reaches the end...

The FCC Enforcement bureau is investigating a February Stern show which could seal the deal with Infinity/Viacom...

Let's get one thing straight before he gets here to Sirius...If you don't like him or are offended by his show...CHANGE THE F---IN' CHANNEL...its that simple...these indecency watch dog groups make me friggin' nuts!!! And so does the FCC...

Word! Howard Stern doesn't own the airwaves of terrestrial radio, and he knows that. He finally realizes that The FCC will never get off his ass, so he made the best decision he ever could and signed on as an exclusive commodity with Sirius. The FCC has NO RIGHT to come after him on satelite. It's a pay service. If you don't like that Howard Stern is on Sirius, then don't subscribe.

If only there was a way to make this part of the advertising campaign...you know what you are getting when you sign-up...if you don't like him...change the channel or go to XM!!! But in the meantime, nothing is going to prevent the rest of us from enjoying his show...January can't get here fast enough!

Even on Terr.radio ppl still couldn`t understand the concept of if you dont like what is on change the channel. So it would be stupid not to subscribe because of Howard.Minus Howard U still have 100+ channels,If a person cant find something to enjoy on Sirius or the other, then fuck em` keep listening to FM.

It is not that simple. On satellite radio everyone's subscription money goes toward paying Stern's salary. The same goes for OutQ, Patriot, The Word, Shade 45, Radio Korea, Martha Stewart or any other stream you might disagree with.

So, even if you change the stream away from Stern 30% (or whatever percentage) of you subscription money is still going to support him. On terrestrail radio, when you tune away you reduce his ratings which reduces his advertising rate etc. etc. etc. Also, you have the option of boycotting advertisers. On Satellite, the only option you have is to quit giving them money.
