Yea there no 3rd channel yet, probably won't see it late next year maybe when he finally gets onn Sirius, because he so busy with everything. But anyway what I heard it spouse to be a premium channel?
I think Channel 102 was supposed to be all of the shows from the last 20 years, but since Howard signed away the rights during his last negotiation, it won't happen, unless he -- OR SIRIUS -- coughs up the $40 million that Infinity is demanding for it.

He signed that contract 5 years ago. This was well known when he was negotiating with Sirius. Why would they plan for a channel in which they won’t have access to the content?

I haven't ever heard mention of that plan, and I've listened to pretty much every Stern show this year. As best as we can tell, the 2 channels will have a lineup of original programming, with some repeats, like many other Sirius channels.

He has mentioned that although he doesn't have the rights for his radio tapes, he DOES own all the rights to all his E! footage. This should allow him to pull the radio show audio from the E! footage if they really wanted to create a channel of classic Stern stuff. Not to say that it'd be easy or cheap to do, but it's possible.
