I hope he stays 5, but there is no way. Aside from looking over his shoulder at Stern's new hires, he must deal with:

1. The whole waking up early thing
2. The drinking thing
3. The low self esteem thing
4. The acting pipe-dream thing

Now...he has always been dealing with these issues, and was able to "maintain" for a long time, so the first melt-down was a slow burn.

Next time he will recognize the symptoms and cash out earlier.

I put the over / under at 8 months - starting Jan. 1 - but I'm pullin for him.

If Artie leaves the show during the next 5 years, I guarantee he will not be replaced him with "Bubba the Lovesponge". Howard is too smart..
