The show goes off the air is less than two weeks in the Vegas market. Nothing to fill the void until January.

Lucky you. I'm in one of the Clear Channel markets where they pulled Howard almost a year ago. January can't get here fast enough for me.

I live in Vegas but have been out of town the last few days.

Is it really getting yanked in a few weeks or will Stern be on till December 14th ???

USA Today paper says Sterns last day is Dec 14th, and Adam and DLR wont come on the air till January 3rd

Actually, I think the LAST DAY is December 16th.

Las Vegas claimed that the contract expires on November 7th (which is odd). And that they cant get an extension.

This morning Howard claimed that he is willing to grant an extension asap. Also, what the hell is the station gonna play between the 7th and January 3rd?

so those in Las Vegas etc. should be buying the sirius receivers NOW to beat the rush and Howards slowing adding more programming on the channels as we speak

Nov 7th is the day....I don't think it is just up to Howard regarding a contract extension, but I don't know.

Hey guys--What are you waiting for? Get Sirius now as Howard already has some programming going on--Why wait till Jan?

No repeaters? There must be one in Las Vegas. I almost always get the full 10 bars on my ter. signal (even at work in a steel building with no windows) - rarely get anything on sat. signal - occasionally 3 bars. I am in the Flamingo/Pecos area of town and point my antenna East to SouthEast, kinda towards Sams Town. No problems yet since I got this 3 weeks ago. Hope you have good luck and can get the service. It's been great so far. Knock on wood.

Where do you live? I get signal all over the desert and even though Death Valley mountains and good signal going through that mountain gorge going up to St George Utah

Since I picked up my subscription to Sirius on Friday, it was a sad day today in Vegas with the loss of Howard.

With the suspension in place for Tuesday, wonder if Howard will leave now before his initial Dec. 16th farewell.

I would have loved to hear Howards' last show....

stern would never leave $$$ on the table....the only way he leaves if they get rid of him.
