I was born and raised in Zanesville, Ahia. Yes, I said that right, Ahia. We southeastern Ahians are southerners at heart. I've lived all over the state. Toledo, Athens, Columbus..
So what's just so fun about Southeastern Ohio? Those from other parts of the state may think it's a boring landscape of cow and corn, but did you know about these?
The Wilds One of North America's largest open range nature preserves. Wouldn't even think that rhinos graze in Ohio now would ya?
The Big Muskie Dragline The largest walking dragline ever built in the world resides just outside my hometown and worked the current location that is The Wilds. It was indeed a sad day when she was dismantled. Alternative link
Yes, Ohio even is the final resting place for a famous Navy vessel, the USS Shenandoah. Doesn't look like much of a boat does it? Well, this thing crashed in 1925 and both the Army and Navy were developing air programs as there was no Air Force (hell, there were hardly any airplanes at that time)

Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill. That we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
Well, I wasn't going to mention it, but yes, Ohio is home to the AMA Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame It is just outside of Columbus in the town of Pickerington if I remember right. Been quite a while since I've been up there.
