I forgot to check in on this thread, but add another NC subscriber to the list! I'm out in Waxhaw, which is about 30 minutes south of uptown Charlotte.

I'm primarily a semi-frustrated rock listener I only have a 30 minute commute to work (right near the old Colisseum site), so as much as I'd like to listen to Howard, it's just not worth hearing only 30 minutes of the show. Once they start streaming it online, I'll be back in!
Sorry about ousting the Redskins last weekend. They put up a good fight! Now, I'm the one person in NC rooting for the Seahawks this weekend. I think I'll keep it low-key
I too will be rooting for Seattle. I HATE the Pussycats. You should see the bandwagoners that come shopping in the store I work at. They wear Panther jerseys and couldn't even name three players on the team.

Wow... the anti-Panthers sentiment is an unexpected, yet welcome, surprise
Actually, if the Seahawks can't make it to the Super Bowl, the Panthers would be my second choice since they're my new local team, so it wouldn't be too horrible. I'm still hoping it doesn't come to that!

I'm one of the few Charlotte natives that are left here. It seems like because of all the financial businesses located here there are more and more "transplants".
I like the Seahawks but can't pull for them against my Panthers. I think both games this weekend will be very interesting and any team can win their respective game. The last few years have been an interesting change from the years and years of force-fed Redskins coverage in Charlotte. The only downside to the Panthers for me is that now I care if a team wins or loses each week and it makes the games more difficult to watch.
I'll be watching Sunday night and hoping for a win for the Panthers so we can get it right this time in the Superbowl.
