I Love Nevada. We got a bunch of SBS's out there, they probably aren't awake yet.
I kid around that Vegas is my base for my West Coast Operations. I'm out there at least once or twice a year for either gaming or vacation exploring the desert southwest. It's a great launching point to visit the Grand Canyon, Death Valley, LA, Southern Utah, etc. Plus the adult side makes the trip fun too, what's up Crazy Horse Too, Spearment Rhino, and Olympic Garden (aka OG's)!!! Still need to get out to see the new Wynn.

I did finally make it up to Reno this past May and I was pretty disappointed with the town and I went in with low expectations. But as always, visiting nearby Lake Tahoe makes up for anything.

Nevada is my favorite state.

The state moto is, "Gambling, Booze & Hookers - 'Nuff Said!"

My wife and I were married there 5 years ago.

One of few states that I would live in besides California.

For the real beauty, you have to get away from this end of the state and go see the Tahoe area.

I've decided to give Vegas a try for a year or so and see what it's like to live in a big city, although I like it better as a vacation destination, I think.

Ah, a couple of days late, but none the less I'm here.

Moved to Las Vegas alittle over 2 years from Nu Yawk...

Love the weather, the women, the golf and the nightclubs. Lots to do out here as long as you have a decent job.

And the most loved feature of Vegas and Nevada?...CIGAR SMOKING ANYWHERE YOU LIKE!!!!!!!

I am in Vegas, but I don't have to like it.
But I do like my Sirius S50 and my Sirius Streamer GT.

Default Vegas Resident

Moved to Vegas from Wisconsin ten years ago after my husband died. Been working in the casino industry since I got out here. Love the weather (I know, I'm crazy but it beats snow, freezing temperatures and mosquitoes). No, I don't gamble. Can't - I design the software that runs the slot machines. I'm addicted to my S50 and the iPOD junkies in the office are jealous because I have my MP3s and satellite radio. The home dock works great in my office window.

Ilive 70 miles east of Vegas on I-15, Great town. (Mesquite) 6 champingship
golf courses.

The city has a population of near 15,000 and near 3000 hotel/motel rooms as well as 4 major casinos. Weather beats Vegas as it a bit lower in elevation.

I have 4 Sirius subscriptions

A real old Jensen with the wired remote
2 H2A's one version 1 and the other version 2
1 Visor

All work well. The old jensen works well but display is slow to load.

XMSucks in my opinion

Vegas boy here. In this town, Sirius is a must. The local radio is absolutely terrible.

First post, BTW.

Hawthorne? My wife is from Hawthorne, we were just out there. Her grandmother died and was buried in that cemetary out by the highway. Dude you live in the desert! After driving from Vegas I popped up the road and bought my Sportster.

Yes, I definitely live in the desert, Yep, cemetary is right across the street from McDonalds...how fitting. Who was your wife's Grandma? Who's your wife, it seems like everyone knows everyone from Hawthorne.
