"Interstate 80, Iowa. Mississippi River ... Davenport ... corn, corn, corn, corn, corn, What's that smell? Corn, corn, corn, Iowa City. Corn, corn, corn, corn, corn, look, a tree! Corn, corn, corn, Des Moines. Corn, corn, corn, corn, corn, there's that smell again. Corn, corn, corn, Council Bluffs ... Missouri River!"
I started my day at 4am in Clive, IA. I drove up I35 into Minnesota and then over into Wisconsin to deliver at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Menomonie.
Then I picked up a load in Eau Claire at the Menard's DC and headed out to the Twin Cities, down through Mankato and have ended up here in La Mars, IA.

Looks like you missed the best part of Iowa:
World Famous Iowa Chops
Iowa Chops are famous for their unsurpassed texture and flavor. Taken from the choicest part of the loin, these thick-cut chops are delectably juicy and taste great grilled or broiled. Hand-cut in generous 3/4 lb. portions.
Don't know about these guys, but I did see the Stones play at ISU and Iowa is famous for being the initial resting spot for Buddy Holly & Richie Valenz after they played in Clear Lake.
Sorry it took me so long to post on here, but I'm originally from Clear Lake. Yes, we killed the music... I lived in Iowa for 22 years. Went to Iowa State and am a die hard Cyclone fan!
Been there, done that, nothin' but hogs, beans & Cyclones
I'll be listening Saturday as the Jayhawks crumble.

What a choke job by the clones huh. Reminds me of last year when the N. was ours to have and we gave it away. I will be upset about that game for a long time. You would think I'd be used to it being a Clone fan for so long, but it still hurts every time they throw away a game like that.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr, I don't wanna talk about it.
Did you catch the UNI game, What a Come-Back against Eastern Washington. I've still got two schools playing post-season games. Too bad they are both Division 1-AA and get televised on ESPN47, a channel I don't have. If its California & South Carolina, I may have to forget about Xmas in Cabo and head for Chattanooga instead.
