Born and raised. Atlanta...historically one of the WORST major markets for FM radio...back when radio was still kinda good every where else.
Satellite Radio was needed badly here.
Atlanta is a great town. We just got the brand new aquarium that I hope to go see once the crowds die down.

Since this is for Georgia, why doesn't Sirius have UGA as one of their college sports teams? It would be awesome to have Larry Munson on Sirius. Doesn't the Top Dog want to show Uga some love? GO DAWGS!!!
I'm a little late in posting, but hello from Georgia.
Some trivia for ya:
-Georgia is the largest State East of the Mississippi River in land size.
-Georgia is now America's 9th most populated State, move over Jersey!
-We're currently home to approximatly 9 million people.
-Half of which (4.5 million) live right here in the so called "Capital of the South" (Metro Atlanta).
It's hard to believe that my town now has more people than half the states in the entire union. TV Market #9, Radio Market #11.
Since most people on this post are from Georiga, we should really do something to get Sirius to broadcast the Georgia Bulldog football games.
Agreed! I'm not a UGA fan myself, but everyone around here is and Munson is great. Plus, it would be nice to have the entire SEC on SIRIUS. Is Georgia the only SEC school not on board with SIRIUS? I thought Arkansas or Miss State was not with SIRIUS yet.
