I used to live out in California. I was born in Downey, which is southeast of LA. I grow up in the Antalope Valley. From the time I was 9, until I was 18 and went into the Marine Corps, I live in Littlerock. I went to Palmdale High School. I've lived in Victorville, Vist, Santa Ana, Lake Forest, and Lancaster, too.
In '03 I moved out to Missouri. It just cost too much to live out there. I still try and go out there once or twice a year. If I could still live out there, I think I would. San Deigo is the nicest place.
I live in Northern California which is quite different than Southern California. I've met people from all over the world that have moved here, and nobody has claimed better weather overall than what is here. The humidity is low and the temperatures generally not too hot in the Summer and moderate in the winter. When it does get too hot in the summer, the beaches are always cool and only a 45 minute drive away.
My favorite location is Point Lobos for the beauty of the coast and Carmel for the amazing white sand beach and shops.

In spite of Bill O'Reilly's hate for us (or perhaps to spite it), we are a strong, proud people in San Francisco. And we love our Sirius! Seriously. Go Cali!
I have met some really nice people out there in the People Republic of California. Love Togo's and In and Out, great place to visit.

When I was really young, I use to live in California in Oceanside. But I don't remember it much! But I do enjoy visiting the state, since it only takes me couple of hours to get there from where I live. I was there couple of months ago for the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland and enjoyed it, very much!
I have a little problem with this state currently, they are holding MY S50 hostage and won't let go. LOL.
Seriously, I'd like to visit the LA area one day, see all the movie stars and maybe visit the Mountain View area (for those who don't know many internet/tech companies headquarters are in/around there).
