It already has come out, well to selected stores since I just got mine day after X-Mas at Best Buy. It was the last one too, you can try ebay just saw one go for $360, HOLY COW!! Good luck, and keep on calling as far as you could afford to drive to I did and made a 30 min. trip worth it for me.

i ended up finding one by typing in zip codes for every area of the country i had friends in on the Circut City website for in store pickup. i eventually found 1 in stock in indianapolis and got my friend to pick it up for me.
over a mountain pass and through 2 hours of nothingness. We are going to make a sirius safari - food, chips, pop, candy, and my new s50. I will finally get reception in parts of my state that has NOTHING.
i live in MA and i dunno any electronic stores that has it around here. my local BB said they won't restock it until Feb 6! i'm gonna try checking my local CCs but i'm doubtful since their site says it's out of stock.
i suggest driving to your local stores and see if they have any. i'm gonna keep looking since i hate moving the car dock around.
I got the S50 as a Christmas gift, and found a home kit just yesterday at the Santa Monica, CA Circuit City. It appeared to be the only home kit in the greater Los Angeles area. It works great, and I am finding that the firmware update significantly improved the S50 from the one that my friend had around Thanksgiving.
I am so tempted to put it up on eBay, though. Does anyone have any idea when the home kit will be generally available?

Well its official I am gonna get rid of my home dock, any offers feel free to e-mail me or just PM me, if I get a good enough offer by tomorrow I will avoid ebay otherwise it will be on ebay tomorrow. I think the fastest way to get a home dock is going to be Crutchfield. That's what I did. I got sick of trying the stores in my area. If they were going to get one in it was either already sold or I just missed it.

I live in CT and I found it at a local Circuit City. You have to keep checking the stock staus EVERY day. Thats how I found mine. There was one in RI somewhere. Cranston?
There were a couple of Home Kits on eBay for $150. , it wasn't that bad of a deal. I bought one on the 23rd and just got it in today. Since these aren't even sold in Canada. Finally I can play with the S50 in a warm house! I was getting sick of sitting in a cold snow covered car!
I can't find a home kit anywhere. I called a Best Buy near my house; they said they had one that was an open box. I asked them to hold if for me and I would be there in an hour or two. An hour of driving later, I get to the Best Buy only to find that they sold it on me! Now, not only do I not have one, I left work to get to the Best Buy, so I'm losing money in my paycheck plus I drove an hour ONE WAY, two hours round trip, and I wasted gas. You would think that the manager would give me a gift card for at least $5-$10 for my inconvenience but nope! Then the salesman told me he would put me on a list for when they come in, I told this to the manager and that person is now fired. First off they are not allowed to hold items and second they are not allowed to put people on a list. The least the salesman could have done was to say he was sorry but that never came. To say the least I don't feel bad for him for loosing his job since he didn't even have the decency to apologize to me for making me drive 2 hours for nothing. The funny thing is I have had several people at this Best Buy tell me they would put me on a list for the home kit. I will never purchase anything, even a soda, from Best Buy every again!

Just keep looking around like you are doing; check EVERY DAY. HAve you tried Crutchfield? The Sirius Store doesn't seem to have them.
No, I didn't even think of crutchfield. I'm going to try them now. I have tried Circuit City every day for the last month and they haven't gotten any in. I found one about an hour away at a Circuit City but they wouldn't hold it or even let me pay for it over the phone.
