I got the S50 + Car Kit, and it seems great so far. I have one trivia question: included was a small piece of cable that doesn't appear to be referenced in the manual at all. It's got a headphone-like jack on it, appears to be just about 6 inches long, with an antenna-like tip on it. What is it? Thanks! Jon
yea, it's funny sirius doesn't have it in their manual. an oversight?
probably but i don't think anyone is complaining
Hey, I'm pissed!
I've got this damn wire I have no F$%kin clue what to do with. The next to worthless manual doesn't say anything about it! I can only imagine what wonderful features I'm missing here! HELP!!!

Calm down skippy. Like mentioned above, the small cable plugs into the FM out. If you have the S50 plugged in through the AUX out, you don't need this cable. You don't need this cable at all unless you receive static while using the FM modulator.

Speaking of the FM out input on the S50...I just got a replacement unit from the warranty center (after waiting literally 6 months for it), I noticed that a) the FM transmitter is MUCH weaker than it was before, and b) they seem to have plugged the FM Out port with a piece of plastic. Any ideas how to get that out? Thanks,
