Howard is always proclaiming himself a comedic genius, but this bit truly qualifies as "genius." It ranks with Sam Kinison's "Cure for World Hunger" bit.
I concur. All of those crazy Alice clips were so funny. Especially when they had her calling into those public access shows. They take a call and all you hear is "Fuck you, Fuck yo...." click. I was dieing. Richard Christy is truly a comic genious.
I was just thinking about how access to all that music had helped too. Fred has been great using music, just like he does with sound bites. He started playing Sexual Healing in the b/g when they were giving Robin crap about running over to see Jamie Foxx and he called her "chocolate", also about how all the guys on the street come onto Robin. Perfect fit and also when he played Pink Floyd's Welcome to the Machine for one of the sybian riders...
The explosion of bababooey songs and Robin's news songs has been great, too.

I was listening to a replay of Howards show this past Saturday (May 6th) I can't remember which date it was, but towards the end of the show Howard and Richard were ribbing Sal.
Howard and Richard in pure story telling mode, saying that how Richard is now dating Beth O's cousin, that he has been showering a lot more then usual.
Sal's going bollistic and pissed off at Howard for not telling him that he's hanging out with Sal more then Howard, (Sal definately has a problem).
The biggest thing was when Richard and Howard said they had a tv show in the works and it was picked up for a pilot as well as 13 episodes for the first season, Sal got so upset over the deal and was trying to weasel his way in it.
Everyone was falling for it as well as Artie was getting a little upset over the deal cause he wanted to pitch some tv ideas through Howard.
Sal needs help, he didn't find anything good about his friend Richard and Howards success as a team cause he was jeleous.

Howard had mentioned something earlier in the show about how one of his friends said they need to stop hanging out with Richard cause Richard doesn't brush his teeth and Shower. Sal heard that in the back and started bitching to Gary about Richard hangin out with Howard and his friends. So Gary turned Sal's radio in the back off and came into the studio and told Howard and everyone how Sal was making this big deal out of nothing. So Howard said, "Ok, bring Sal in, we're all gonna fuck with him." And the comedy followed
I love the phone call that Sal and Richard make to Crazy Alice, it's f'ing hilarious! I've never laughed so hard in my life! The song is funny, but the phone call is better.

See, i tuned into the part of the segment where he was asking Richard if he wanted to hang out in Atlantic City or something. So, i didn't hear what they were up to, it just played out really well.
I still think when Bubba was on the show and they were shocking Richard and Sal was about the best show ever.
I don't know why, but I didn't think that was all that funny. I hardly laughed at all. When Richard got waxed, I was rolling. There was something else recently that really got me laughing, but I forget what it was.
I don't know about anyone else, but the news segment about "Patches" Kennedy last week had me pissing my pants and gasping for breath, I was laughing so hard.
