Default Cost of Howard TV on different cable companies?

First of all I have Time Warner in Ohio and it is $13.95. When I signed up it was $9.95. They never sent a notice or anything one day the bill went up to $13.95. Now that it is costing as much as Sirius it's pissing me off. Also it takes longer for new content and shows to come up. I see people talking about shows not up on my cable. It's usually a day or two behind.
1. How much is it on your cable and what company?
2. How fast does new content come up.

Cablevision (NYC, LI, NJ, CT), cost is $9.95 and they say the cost is -not- going to increase.

The $9.95 was an intro price thru March then the suggested price went to 13.95 on most cable systems.

I usually get at least one new show every day.

I have comcast and they charge 9.95 a month. They also have a couple of shows listed for 7.99 each. I don't subscribe to it so I couldnt tell ya how fast the shows are up.

The price for me (COX Cable - San Diego, CA) was $9.95 all the way up until April, now its $13.95. And yes, I knew the change was coming. They mentioned it on the show (back on the terrestrial days) and it was mentioned when I signed up.

on comcast in chicago its 9.95 a month. I don't have it by the way. for those paying 13.95, its a total rip off at that price. I mean one channel costing more per month than your entire sirius subrscription for 150 channels total.

I have Comcast and they went from $9.95 to $13.95 like some people have already mentioned. They also have a deal where you can pre-pay for one year for only $109.99.

Comcast has been pretty good about putting the new shows on there quickly.

Word.

People seem to be uninformed and when the price goes up they get pissed off. I think its your cable company's fault for not making it known to you. Or maybe they did tell you and you didn't read into it.

Besides...The promotional price ended when the new shows began to air. 9.95 was for the "old" stuff and behind the scenes episodes.

I still think thats kinda weak. 13.95 is a lot for a channel that doesn't even play all the time live like other premium channels. HBO and Showtime are comparably priced, but they have movies, original programming and you get 10 feeds of each channel with digital cable. plus you can watch them on ondemand as well.

From ebay? I've seen auctions for new show DVD's. Does ebay allow this. I'm sure they have to be burned. Have you bought any? How about Quality.
I'm also considering getting it(HTV) every other month and watching what interest me. Seems I pretty much caught up with what's on now.

The turn around time makes it worth it in my opinion. I mean you get shows within 2 days. Also, At this point, there is tons of content that you can watch whenever.
