Default Your Subscription Fee Paid For Robin's House and Boat!

She's come a long way since her nursing days in Baltimore circa 1980. While her lifestyle got better and better thru the 80s and 90s - it wasn't until recently that a three million plus home and yacht became part of her net worth!

and your point is???

Don't ya think we know where our money is going to? There are costs to running a company. They sure aren't taking our sub fees and donating to charity.

Yea, because she bought all her houses and boats since January. Beyond that, I know people that make $50,000/year and own 2 houses- it's called investing.

Thank goodness they aren't because hardly any of the money would go to the actual charities....

No point intended! Although those Sirius stock investors (of which I am not one) who bought between $6 and $9 are perhaps wondering if the stock has dipped because of the large contracts given out.

Stern is worth every penny. I don't agree with his outrageous claim that all 3+ million subs since his announcement are due to him. I do think that quite a few of them are. At least 1.5 million I'd bet. Plus I'd bet over the years, people do get Sirius due to him being there. I had Sirius for months before his announcment. If I hadn't, I would have got it just because of him.

They really need to come out with a truly portable system. Not one that just works outside with a clear sky. Something that works in buildings like FM radios do.

Jeez.. I guess I have also contributed to The Sopranos cast, Part of Tom Cruises Salary (I watched War of the worlds), Battlestar Galactica (I am a huge FAn), George Lucas, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, ETC.

O h yeah, I am also Catholic, I guess I contributed to the upkeep of the vatican and Pope John Paul's red slippers he had on during his funeral.

Pointless ... utterly, pointless

I hope she enjoys the cupholder on her boat that I might have a 1000000th stake in... *snickers*

The broad is in her mid 50s, I think she's earned every penny. I for one offer my congratulations, not some mean spirited snipe because she turned a buck.

As for charitable contributions... none of us knows what she or any of the other people on the show do in that regard. If we did know, then someone would likely bitch about how they are shilling the fact that they GIVE.

Hoofah.

Hmmm, kind of funny because I can think of a number of people who started in the early 80's that are living the high life. Lets see, David Letterman, Jay Leno, Oprah, not to name countless movie stars and sports stars. Your point is pointless. If they are more then willing to pay the money, I would take it to. Just part of the free world and making money.

Very true- imagine if Howard didn't lose half his money in a divorce and support 3 daughters, including college for at least one.

Exactly! Any theater/concert ticket, book, dvd and cd you've bought, have helped pay for houses, cars, boats, prostitutes, drugs, etc.

Why would you buy at price peaks anyway? The Stock was below 3 dollars before Howard signed. It jumped to 6, then 9 and then settled. Besides, I don't think the stock drop because of large contracts. These large contract actually strengthen the price per share. They have helped beef up subs (Which is the most important driver sin Sat Radio).

When they say that, I think they refer to people like Gary. They often refer to the fact that Gary does weekend gigs to make extra money. I'm sure Gary makes a lot more money than O&A's producer.
