artie could easily make more than fred and robin because he has side hustles with the comedy and the acting. but based on just salary from the show, there's no way that artie makes more than fred or robin. I doubt he makes more than ma-ma monkey even.
Howard ran into more trouble with the equipment and had to start the CD from the beginning and then fast forward through it. He got to the point where they discussed Artie's salary. The panel ranged from $750,000 on up. Artie was cracking up and saying that the show was great. Howard says he doesn't know what kind of money anyone makes but Artie was willing to reveal it. He said he would talk about it and say what he makes including everything else he does. Howard wondered if he wanted to hold on to that number until they leave. Artie said that he makes way more in other ventures than he does at K-Rock. Artie said he has gotten quite a nice raise at the new place and he's very happy with that. Artie said in the last four years he's made way more money in other things than he has at the station. Howard wondered if Artie wanted to come clean now or not. He then said that this includes stand-up comedy gigs and he has made about $1.2 million... including everything. As a K-Rock employee he probably makes less than $600,000. Gary figured he was at the $400,000 mark or so. It's actually between $400 and $500,000. Artie said the stand-up money is the big draw for him. The SFRT crew were going back and forth talking about Artie's income and figured he could be making as much as $2 million.

Oh, I think he makes more than Artie. Someone said that they thought he made a milllion because he said that. With side gigs, could be around five (including checks from movies). Also, today or yesterday, they were talking about possible retiring and Fred said he would have to work when Howard left the airwaves...Really?

thats absurd. fred is the head writer for the show. plus he has been with them the whole time. and lets say the last 15 years the show has been really popular and in syndication. you tellin me that fred is broke when he's been probably makin at least a million a year for the last 15 years I would estimate???

wako jako is broke and he was worth something like $700Million at one point. Tyson, MChammer, Don Johnson...not everyone is a rocket scientist when it comes to money.

The only reason I think I disagree with Fred making that money is that just yesterday Howard asked everyone of they have put away enough money to retire after the 5 year contract if they did not renew, and Fred said no, he would still need to work. He would have to live life very extravagantly to burn through that kind of scratch, and looking at Fred, I don't see it.

you get used to living a life style based on your income. I'm sure he has a nice house, a few nice cars, etc. It takes the same amount of money to keep on living the life style your used to living. I bet he could retire comfortably, but it would be hard to maintain his current status. My 2cents.
