Howard just announce that there will be NO more H100 newscasts at 12pm and 6pm. They will now have hourly news breaks during the replays. They didn't really mention if it will cut right into the replay or wait until a commercial break.

How do you guys feel about the new schedule?
I've never really like the news. Was fine before Howard was on but now it's just lame. He needs to let them do stories that aren't Howard-related. Would be fun to hear gossip about celebrities in general or something along those lines.
Indeed. I hate the news and hate it when Howard takes time out during the show so Lisa G or George Flowers can talk about what stories they're covering.
The stories are unbelievably lame. I'm probably one of the least exciting people in the universe, but a news crew devoted to my life probably wouldn't be much worse than this.
This is a great move. I would be more pleased if he would just do away with them all together but whateve,r this is certainly better. Now, this should free up some more time on 101 for special shows.
The next great move would be to eliminate the replaying of the wrap-up show. I like the wrap up show but it missed something when you're not hearing it live. This woudl free up even more time for a two hour Riely Martin show.

At the beginning i liked the news a lot, now i really don't care for it as much. I think that it's good that they are trying out different things to see what works better.
I agree. I just read my previous post and I just wanted to clarify things. Its better than before since it cutts down on the news. But getting rid of it would be better.
I like the newscasts. I didn't like them in the early days replaying over and over, but a couple times a day is great.
Judging by the way Howard touts the Howard 100 replay schedule, I'm in the minority on this... But I'm not a fan of the constant replays all hours of the day on Howard 100. And I'm not a huge Bubba fan and I'm definitely not a Pherrall fan. I like the Wack Pack shows, Riley Martin, Meet the Shrink, The Better Half, Miserable Men, The Intern Show, Super Fan Rountable, etc. So losing the news is not my idea of going in the right direction for my tastes.

BTW, if they do the hourly thing on 100, won't that push the replays back? I don't know. Sounds like they are phasing it out, which is sort of sucky because sometimes they have good stuff (but very rarely).
