Default New news format is killing me...

...and the five other subscibers in our office. We start at 7am, and lunch at 12m. Most of us miss the first hour, and are at lunch during the news. The good part of this was during the replay we could catch hour one after lunch, and the day would be that much shorter. Also, there is an office microwave in constant use during lunch and the signal is aweful. So please bring back the hour news at noon.

Can someone explain how the new news thing works? I never heard it before and I don't hear it now.

No way- I like the short little segments each hour. An hour straight was just too much.

The news is supposed to run clips at the top of the hour every hour, about 5 minute clips at best.

The entire news hour was just too much imo, i enjoy the little bits through out the day. When they did the entire hour, it seemed like they did 30 minutes of news and the second half hour just repeated itself.

The new format will get old too...but I was tuning out the News when it was an hour long.

I don't like what it's done to the Replays either. I think that's the big arguement against it. They gotta keep working....

No schedule is going to work for everyone.

I like that it is not so much of a block of time. they were scrabbling too much to fill all that time, IMO. Maybe they could stretch the wrap-up show?
