It's an hour of fun, waiting for a chance encounter with that stray song, arbitrary anthem or erratic refrain that time nearly forgot. It's unpredictable, unplanned and undeniably great '80s music. Listen each day at 12 pm ET. We will be, 'cause we can't wait to hear what's playing next! And thanks to Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran for the idea.
This started out as preset B-8... it's since migrated into my A band (though '60s Vibrations came from being non-presetted to be my top decades preset).

'90s Download: All the hits of the '90s
This is the music of my teenage years and it's one of my top presets, although I like First Wave more, generally.
I'm always disappointed in the Big 40, I think it should be done much better than it is. I like hearing some of the more obscure stuff they don't play anymore that never made it much beyond the 30's, though.
Just like back then, I could do without the sappy ballads of the Chicagos and Journeys of the era.
I am a child of the 80's and this is my music.
This is my number one preset. I like the Big 40 countdown. I like Alan, Mark and Nina. And, what I love so much about Sirius, when the Big 80's is playing a song that I've heard one too many times, I can always find good 80's music playing somewhere else on Sirius, like First Wave, Classic Rewind, and many other channels. But, I always come back to the Big 80's.
This is my second favorite channel next to my other 80's channel, Hair Nation.
The DJ's are fun and give great pithy comments about the music. Ok, Alen Hunter does get carried away on his comments regarding drinking Pinot Noir wine, but hey thats my favorite wine and I drink a bottle a week of it...
Nina does a good job on the top 40 and Mark seems to need a vacation. He is on all the time..hehe.
Enjoyable channel that cant be heard anywhere on the FMer.. Keep up the great music.

big 80's found its way onto my B presets. i was in the car with my friend and she likes 80's music so i turned it on and i started to enjoy it myself. and now its in my presets.
This is one of my top presets. They do a good job mixing up the music. They play a broad selection of hits. If you are into more focused genres, HairNation or First Wave may be better choices, but I keep finding my way back to The Big 80s. The VJ's are fun.

Looking for help on Sirius/XM??
I do have this station as a preset, I don't listen to this station much. But before I joined Sirius, I use to listen to a FM station like this. Mix 96.9 "Best of the 80's, 90's and today." They usually did an hour of nothing but 80's music and I enjoyed that.
I have been walking the dog for this, the fifth week. This is the first time that I found nothing that I liked. NOTHING. Not Big ‘80s, Bluegrass or Reggae. Nevertheless, there is still hope for me.
Now with 85 other music channels to choose from, future Walk The Dog should be more satisfying.
