I only ever listened to the Bluegrass channel once. And I loved it. But, I haven't been back since for no reason at all. Thanks for giving me a reason to enjoy it again.
I recorded The Bluegrass Gospel Train this morning on my S50. I got to listen to it late this afternoon. I really enjoyed this show. I also like the channel as a whole.
I think if the music was without vocals, I'd like it more. The country-ish vocals do not really agree with me. But, to me, the musicians who play this music are gifted -- some of the best guitar players and instrumentalists that I've heard.
I didn't think I would like this channel but I've had it on for about 2 hours and I'm really enjoying it the minute I hear that david lee roth jump blugrass nonsense I'm changin the channel...
can't u see what I maunnnnnnn...

It's a pretty cool channel. I did not start listening to Bluegrass until that "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" movie came out. I gave it a listen and got hooked. It's a "B" preset for me. The DJ's usually give you some good info too, and don't chat too much.

Looking for help on Sirius/XM??
Much different than I expected. Not sure exactly what I expected. This station is pretty good. Like "Twangier" country. I usually go to Prime Country to get my country fix, but I could see myself coming back here ocassionally.
I liked it more than I thought I would. It wasn't as "old timey" as I thought it would be, and I had heard of some of the artists, Alison Krauss in particular. I might listen again sometime.
I have been walking the dog for this, the fifth week. This is the first time that I found nothing that I liked. NOTHING. Not Big ‘80s, Bluegrass or Reggae. Nevertheless, there is still hope for me.
Now with 85 other music channels to choose from, future Walk The Dog should be more satisfying.
I think if the music was without vocals, I'd like it more. The country-ish vocals do not really agree with me. But, to me, the musicians who play this music are gifted -- some of the best guitar players and instrumentalists that I've heard.
My thoughts exactly -- I was earlier telling my girlfriend that I expected less vocals - that really kills it for me. However, even with vocals it was a pretty good channel -- much better than Reggae.
