SIRIUS Internet Radio Player

Internet Explorer 6 or 7 users:
Install via 'ClickOnce' or Run Setup.exe (detects requirements, auto-updates)

Opera, Netscape or Firefox users:
Download the standalone exe build (no auto-updates)
(the 'ClickOnce' installer only works with IE as your default browser)

Installation notes:

*The 'ClickOnce' install only works if IE 6 or IE 7 is your default web browser. The 'ClickOnce' install does not work with Opera, Netscape or Firefox as your default web browser. Download the standalone exe build if you use one of those web browsers!

*You must be online for the application to work - it gets the music and song / artist information from the internet.

*You must have a valid SIRIUS account (http://www.sirius.com) - either guest or subscriber - to use the application. If you are not currently a sirius subscriber, you can sign up for a free 3-day pass on the sirius website.

*If you previously installed the application and have received an error message - please uninstall the application from the Windows Control Panel (Add / Remove Programs) and then redownload the newest build and reinstall. Very nice!!! If I had an option to only show my favorite channels....... As it is, it is replacing my widget. Keep up the good work!!

It won't play for me... It never changes from Logged out. Would this be a problem if I had WMP 11 installed instead of 10?

Check that you can login to your account on the SIRIUS website. So, check your username and password - let me know if you are still having issues.

FYI: I just tested it with WMP 11 Beta - and it works great. No problems at all with WMP 11 Beta.

I know the login works fine, I tested that, as well as use Sirius_On. I'll give it another try on Monday, it's on my desktop at work...

If I had time, I would look through the code myself, but as it is, could you please explain what might be keeping my Artist and Song information from refreshing. It is always empty.

Thanks for your quick response.

It doesn't refresh in the grid. I don't see any "Now Playing" area.
I'm using the default Style and haven't changed anything.

The first link you provided returned text of song information.
The second link returned nothing.

All outbound traffic is enabled. Inbound is restricted, but I can punch holes if I know the ports.

Edit: I just realized what the "Now Playing" area is. It isn't updating either.
Edit2: Second link returns data in IE, but not SeaMonkey (Mozilla).

Do you by chance use MSN Messenger? If so, add me as a contact 'shivachrome' - then go into MSN Messenger and select Actions -> Request Remote Assisrtance and select my name. That will allow me to see what you see remotely.

Maybe if I can see exactly what you are seeing - we can figure this out!
