I think Howie Mandel is one of the quickest comedians ever. You put him on the streets to interview people and he can make comebacks in a split second. He is so bright. It's too bad he can't handle his OCD. Maybe VH1 could have an OCD Reality show with Marc Sommers, Howie Mandel, and Stern Together.

I wonder if he woke up one day and decided Hair was evil.
I remember when he was on a few months ago he said he shaved it for a movie or tv role. He said his wife liked it and he decieded to keep it shaved. I was flipping the channels one day and saw on MTV a show called "True Life", it was about people with OCD, it was so messed up. This one girl had to touch her door frame like 20 times before she could go into her apt. One guy kissed his girlfriend up 50 times before he went to work, he had to keep doing it until it felt right. OCD is one crazy illness.
That deal with the string was fucking crazy!
You could tell that Howie was sincerely upset by Howards insistance on cutting off the string.
Dude is certifiably insane!
And you know the really sad part is that the whole deal sounds like the Italian guy was a tourist bracelet scam artist who let Howie off the hook either
a) because he liked him, or
b) knew that it would fuck with his OCD
I like the story about how Howie orders 30 towels for his hotel room as soon as he checks in. He then lays down all of the towels along the carpet from the bathroom to the bedroom to walk on like a path. This OCD definitely rules his life.

I liked Artie's joke that Howie would go get Dr Sarno's book except that he doesn't have enough towels to get to the bookstore.
Howard must still have some form of it or some "germaphobia" because of his *ss whiping routine and I don't know if anyone remembers when he wore gloves to that one event back in January?
