Listened to O&A for the first time today ever.....
Never heard these guys before, cuz they weren't in this market until recently. But I wanted to see what they were about. and after listening a while I'm thinking "this sh*t is garbage." First of all, I put it on two different times. the whole time they're talking about Howard and his sirius deal in some way. Then the next time, they're talkin about Howard and Imus in the 80's on some corny billboard they were on. I can't believe people would actually want to listen to this crap. Of course I didn't really listen that long since on "free fm" they are quick to go to a commercial break. Does anyone else have anything to add on about their show. let me know if there's anything good on with them or if its always this bad.

I turn it on sporadically to see if I might 'catch the virus'...and I have never found it entertaining. Its boring. The only parts I would listen to would be when they talk about Howard. Don't waste your time. The show is lame.

I used to listen to them when they were on in Chicago (before the St. Pats stunt) and thought they were funny. When I got XM I figured I'd give them a listen. It took about 3 weeks to really "get it". I'd laugh and think it was amusing but the more I listened the more I realized it was really mean spirited and had the same jokes day in and day out. When I came over to Sirius I had no intention of listening to howard but after about a month I was hooked. The difference I see is that howard while using his "retards" for comedy still treats them with some respect. O & A use these people for comedy and then treat them like complete shit. Since O & A started simulcasting they have watered down the content by dancing around topics with wordplay and are now subject to commercial breaks every 1/2 hr or so. They then fill the commercials on XM with clips of old bits. They're hacks. They constantly talk about howard, bubba, and mancow. But the worst part is that they really think they are doing something original. Just give credit where it's due and move on and do your show every morning.

Can't wait to read what the resident trolls have to say. I wonder if they'll bring up ratings? Or how this is good for XM. I hate the trolls on this board but they are funny. I know goreds2 is a 100% troll and I'm not sure if cragiscubsfan even listens to the show. Who are the other trolls on here?

yeah, it's WONDERFUL that we have given them yet another thread to keep alive for another few weeks.

Craigie is a typical troll cub fan. From what I can tell, he trolls XM Fan as much as he trolls here.

I don't think he'll bring up corrections. I think the point he is trying to make is that certain people on here complain about all the OnA threads on here and all the "trolls" who post on them yet it is some of those "certain" people on here who are the ones who start those OnA threads in the howard stern forum.
you guys are free to post about whatever you want just dont complain about the mess that you made when it finally comes to be.
as to the original topic of this thread. listen to what you gotta and like what you gotta like. Alot of people didn't like seinfeld either.
