Default Howard wants a new truck

Why doesn't anyone mention the Lincoln Blackwood pickup truck to him? They stopped making them in 2002 but I bet he could find a new one!

Or the Dodge SRT10, it also has Sirius:

He needs a truck big enough to pull his fishing boat. The Blackwood is baller as fuck.

Lincoln makes a new pickup now...the Mark LT or something like that. Basically, it is a Navigator pickup truck.

You know what was so funny?

Howard is one of those assholes who drives their NICE AUDI A8 INTO A FUCKING RIVER of water.

In order for that water to TOTAL his car, it has GOT to have been half way up the door.

NO HOWARD YOU DONT NEED A TRUCK, YOU NEED TO NOT BE A DUMBASS DOUCHEBAG DRIVING THROUGH DEEP WATER ON THE ROADS!

In all seriousness, that was a pretty stupid thing to do and he is lucky that he only fucked up his car and didn't get stranded or hurt/killed. Even if you've got a Hummer it is a BAD idea to try and drive across moving water like that. It's impossible to gage the depth visually, so you cannot be sure that you've got enough clearence until you are on the other side. Even with a truck you shouldn't blindly assume that you've got enough clearence to get you across.

both j3 and proper mod are right,no matter how big the truck is it will still float away in a current.I drive a f250 and i know not to mess with moving water........Now all we need is the badmfer to tell us how wrong we all are. My choice would be a f250 lariet diesel.

Hearing Stern talk about fishing is one of the funniest things ever. No matter what I cannot discern whether it's true or not. Though I lean on not.

I was thinking of calling in and calling him a douchebag about this to his face, but as I only have about 40 mins in the morning (im at work at 6:40) I doubt I'd ever get through and I'd end up wasting all the time i usually use to get ready.

Howard said after the car stalled he listened to sirius while he was wait for the tow truck. Now if the water was higher then the bottom of the door it would start filling the inside of the car and I cant see Howard sitting in the car with water slowly rising inside his car. He must have just driven too fast throught the water the 2nd time after seeing he made it the 1st time

Oh and your right NEVER drive through water, My truck is 2 feet off the ground and I never even try it...

you are all wrong.

properly equipped with a water fording (that's the term for it) kit, an H1 (no, not those pussified H2s) can be submerged with the water over the roofline.

the air intake and the exhaust are both over the roof...

that thing sticking out of the hood on the left side is the air intake...

although this is my fav option:

I've been working in the Hamptons for years and while there are a number of areas that are prone to flooding, none that I know of collect water as deep as he claims. The story still makes for good radio though. He should just keep an inflatable lifeboat in his A8.
